Liner Refund Policy

Last updated

This Refund Policy explains how the Liner Plus subscription is cancelled and when and how payments for it are refunded. It forms part of the Liner Terms of Service (https://tryliner.tech/legal/terms-of-service).

1. What the payment covers

1.1. The core features of Liner (the player, lyrics and playlist import) are free. Liner Plus (the "Subscription") is an optional paid subscription to additional features of the app: higher library limits, an animated avatar and profile banner, avatar frames and the Plus badge, the full profile editor and Plus-only modules, hosting listening rooms and the animated sticker pack.

1.2. The Subscription is billed monthly. The current price is shown in the "Pricing" section of the website (https://tryliner.tech/#pricing), and the final amount, including taxes, is shown before payment.

2. Cancelling the Subscription

2.1. The User can cancel the Subscription at any time in the "Account" section of the tryliner.tech website or by writing to hkamoric@gmail.com.

2.2. After cancellation the Subscription is not renewed. Liner Plus stays active until the end of the period already paid for.

2.3. Cancelling does not delete any data. Library items above the free limits become read-only, and Plus profile customization is hidden and restored on resubscribing.

3. When a refund is made

3.1. The amount paid is refunded in full if:

  • the User was charged twice or in error;

  • the User was charged for a renewal after cancelling the Subscription before the renewal date;

  • Liner Plus features were not provided due to a technical fault on the Service's side that was not fixed within 7 days of the User's report.

3.2. First purchase. If the User asks within 7 days of their first Liner Plus payment, that payment is refunded in full, without giving a reason. This applies once per Account.

3.3. Consumers in the European Union, the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have the right of withdrawal under the law of their country of residence. This policy does not limit that right.

3.4. In other cases, payments for a period that has already started are not refunded, and partial periods are not refunded after cancellation, unless the law of the User's country of residence requires otherwise.

4. How to request a refund

4.1. The User writes to hkamoric@gmail.com from the Account's email address or states it in the message, together with the date, amount and identifier of the payment, if known.

4.2. The request is reviewed within 10 business days, and the User is informed of the decision by email.

4.3. An approved refund is returned to the card or other payment method used for the payment, in the amount charged. The time it takes for the money to arrive depends on the User's bank and is usually from 3 to 30 days. Currency conversion differences and fees charged by the User's bank are not covered by the Service.

4.4. After a refund under clause 3.2, the Subscription ends immediately.

5. Payment disputes

5.1. Before opening a payment dispute (chargeback) with their bank, the User contacts support at hkamoric@gmail.com. Most issues are resolved faster this way.
